Why Do You Love Southern Maryland?

I can remember moving to Southern Maryland back in the mid 90’s because my parents wanted me in the school system down here rather than in PG County. I’ve lived around the bay for as long as I can remember, and Southern Maryland is by far my favorite region.
Why? Well for one thing, I love the fact that it’s a more relaxed atmosphere. I enjoy being able to go
fishing and crabbing on the weekends, The proximity to D.C. and Baltimore mean that there’s lots of great car shows to go see during the summer, The sailing in the bay and on the Potomac are excellent, and my drive to work takes me through tree-lined back roads every morning! I enjoy being able to have a yard and space between myself and my neighbors without paying a fortune for it!
